E Bike Scheme Punjab is the programme initiated by CM Of Punjab. Government of Punjab has announce Electronic Bike Scheme in 2024 especially for students of Punjab. This Programme is initiated by Chief Minister of Punjab Mariam Nawaz. Both male and female students of Government Colleges being regular student can apply for these scheme. These Electronic Bikes will help the students to reach in college on time and save them from rush of Public Transport. Special Training will be give to women to ride E Bikes. Electronic Scooties are made for women regular students of colleges. Private College enrolled students are not eligible for these scheme. These bikes will be given on monthly Instalment Basis.

At recent meeting in Lahore, the provincial government has laid down the plan to provide over 20,000 electronic and petrol bikes to citizens of Punjab through Interest Free loans. The main purpose of this scheme is to facilitate the students from Public Transport.

Installation Details & Plans

The government of Punjab has announced for 20,000 bikes in E Bike Scheme Punjab, out of which 1000 will be electronic bikes and 19000 will be petrol bikes. And students have no worry about payment of interest. Because, this programme is interest free payments on monthly basis

Installment Plant for Electric/Petrol Bikes Punjab

The monthly installment for electronic bikes is set at Rs. 10,000, while for petrol bikes, its installment is Rs. 5000/- for E Bike Scheme Punjab.

Quota Plan

To ensure equality between male and female distribution in urban and rural areas, the bikes will be evenly split between males and females without any gender discrimination. Moreover, 70% quota is set for male and 30% quota is set for female.
The initiative by the Punjab Government led by the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz aims to ease the burden of transpiration for students

Eligibility for E Bike Scheme Punjab 

  • Person must be regular student of government College.
  • Person Must be Student.
  • No Govt Employee can apply for this.
  • Down payment must be necessary.
  • Private college/universities students are not eligible
  • Both male/female are elibile
  • School Students are not eligible.
  • Must be over 18 years of age.
  • Must be a regular student of a Degree College / University, duly recognized by HEC.
  • Must hold a valid motorcycle Learner’s Permit / Driving Licence.
  • In case of receipt of applications in excess of allocated quotas, e-balloting shall be conducted.

Students of Punjab Government can get these Electronic or Petrol Bikes from Punjab Portal. Both Male/Female of regular students from government colleges or universities.

19000 Petrol Bikes

  • 11676 Petrol Bikes for Male Students
  • 7324 Electric Bikes For Female Students

Male students will pay a monthly installment of Rs 11,676, while female students will pay Rs 7,325 per month. Distribution will be based on population density, with the first phase focusing on cities like Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rawalpindi, and Lahore.The initiative targets students from both public and private universities and graduate colleges. The deadline for submitting applications is April 29th, providing students with the opportunity to access affordable transportation solutions to facilitate their educational pursuits.

The students can apply online by visiting the link . An eligible applicant must be a student of a public or private sector university/graduate college. He/she must be 18 years or above of age, and has a driving license or learner’s permit.
