PTA Announced Free Districbution of Smart Phones to Female Sim Owners. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), in collaboration with mobile manufacturers, is distributing 2,000 free smartphones to female SIM owners across Pakistan, including Punjab. ARY Digital has also verified such distribution of Mobile Phones. All Females from Punjab can apply for free Mobile Phone. This initiative has been taken by Punjab Governement and especially for females. This distribution will be done through Balloting
As part of the celebrations marking Pakistan surpassing 200 million telecom subscribers, mobile manufacturers have contributed 2,000 locally assembled smartphones to be distributed among female SIM owners through computerized balloting across Pakistan, AJK, and GB”.

I am in urgent need of a mobile phone because without it I face serious hurdles in my daily life. I cannot stay in contact with family or important people, I struggle with my studies as most learning material and communication is now digital, and I also miss out on earning opportunities that require online access. A smartphone is no longer a luxury but a necessity, and having one will enable me to continue my education, improve my livelihood, and stay connected in this modern era
I am currently facing many difficulties because I do not have a mobile phone. Without it, I cannot properly attend online classes, access study material, or explore earning opportunities that could help me support myself and my family. Even staying in touch with teachers, relatives, and important contacts has become a daily struggle. In today’s time, a smartphone is not a luxury but a necessity for education, communication, and livelihood.
