Jacobabad District (Sindhi: جيڪب آباد ضلعو, Urdu: ضلع جیکب آباد) is a district in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. It is located in the north of Sindh, by the provincial boundary with Balochistan. Its headquarters is the town of Jacobabad, which was founded by General John Jacob in 1847.
During British India, the town was the administrative headquarters of the Upper Sindh Frontier District of the Bombay Presidency; with a station on the Quetta branch of the North-Western railway, 37 m. from the junction at Ruk, on the main line. It is famous as having consistently the highest temperature in Pakistan. During the month of June the thermometer ranges between 120° and 127 °F. The town was founded on the site of the village of Khangarh in 1847 by General John Jacob, for many years commandant of the Sind Horse, who died here in 1858, and left a marvellous Victoria Tower in his remembrance in the heart of the city.

- Jobs offers to jaccoabad domicile candidates to apply online Interested candidates for the said posts (at Sr. No. 01 to 02) may submit Online Application Form before 31.01.2024
- After submission of form Online Application form may download system generated challan of Rs. 1200 and deposit it in any branch of ABL / MCB Bank LTd.
- Candidate are required ti upload CNIC, Domicile, one fresh passport size photograph, NOC in case of Government Servant, acadmic documents and experience certificate at Online Portal. Candidates with disability are requred to upload / send CNIC having wheelchair logo issued by NADRA
- For posts mentioned at SR. 3 to 5, candidates are requrired to send their application along with attested copies of educational documents, experience certificate, CNIC, Domicile, PRC-D, NOC in case of govt employee and 2 passport size photographs by post or by hand addressed to the District & Session Judge, jaccoabad on or before 31.01.2024 till 3:00pm
- Disability Quota will be observed.
- Female candidates are encouraged to apply
- Government Servant should apply through proper channel
- Dates of Written test for post of Sr. No.01 to 02 will be announced by SIBA Testing Services on their official websites. The list of successfull candidates wukk by announced by SIBA Testing Service for the post of Sr.3 to 5 will be affixed on the notice board of District and Session Court Sukkur with the dates with thier shorthand / typing test, which will be conducted by the department selection committee of this court.
